Welcome to the Rev One Trading blog
Notes from the desk on prop trading rules, risk discipline, and what funded futures traders actually do to keep their accounts.
Notes from the desk on prop trading rules, risk discipline, and what funded futures traders actually do to keep their accounts.
We started Rev One Trading because the rules at most prop firms were written to make traders fail. Hidden consistency rules, vague drawdowns, surprise resets, slow payouts. We picked a different direction. One challenge. Clear math. Payouts on demand.
This blog is where we'll publish the working notes behind that direction. Risk frameworks, platform walkthroughs, breakdowns of common ways traders lose funded accounts, and the occasional product update. No cliches, no hype. Just the stuff we'd want to read if we were on the other side of the screen.
You'll see three kinds of posts here:
| Account | Promo | Base | Profit target | Max loss |

| $50K | $108 | $180 | $3,000 | $1,500 |
| $75K | $161 | $269 | $4,500 | $2,250 |

The numbers above are pulled from the same source that powers our pricing page and rules page. If they shift, this post shifts with them.
If you're new to futures, start with anything tagged Futures 101. If you already trade and just want the funded mechanics, Risk Management is the right shelf.
