One contract, five times

The best-run account on the board yesterday never traded more than a single contract. Behind it: 140 traders from 37 countries, the widest session we have counted since July 22.

Every country that traded Tuesday's session, lit on the map. Israel, Jamaica, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Latvia and the Netherlands were on the board too, but they are too small to hold a cell on the dot map.

The widest board we have counted since July 22, and the run everyone should look at was the quietest one on it.

Brent B.🇺🇸 took five trades yesterday across his two Flex $50,000 accounts. All five closed green, for $625.00. Every one of them was a single full-size S&P contract, held between 35 seconds and eight and a half minutes. Add it up and he was in the market for about twelve minutes across a 23-hour session. The account lets him trade far more than one contract. He has not needed to.

Around him the session was busy in every direction: 140 traders from 37 countries, 842 trades, 2,851 contracts, 225 accounts, 13 instruments. Micro Nasdaq carried 530 of the trades on its own, micro gold 131, micro S&P 82, micro Dow 48, micro crude 24. Ten accounts crossed their profit target before the close.

Five clean sessions

Brent B.🇺🇸
+$625.00

Five trades, five winners, one contract every time, across two Flex $50,000 accounts. The longest hold was eight and a half minutes and the shortest was 35 seconds. Nothing about the day was dramatic, which is exactly why it is the lead.

Owen K.🇲🇼@Strika10
+$374.00

The only trader from Malawi on the board, and he made it count: three trades, three winners, two contracts each. His Flex $2,500 went from $2,525.50 to $2,899.50, clear of the profit target.

Venroy W.🇯🇲@shinobi
+$316.00

Five trades between 18:53 and 19:01 Chicago time, all green, two micro Nasdaq contracts each. That eight-minute run took his Track $2,500 from $2,500.00 to $2,816.00 and straight through the $2,650 target. Jamaica does not show up on the map often. It showed up yesterday.

Sandesh S.🇮🇳@sandesh578
+$252.00

Twelve trades on a Flex $5,000, and five of them went against him. Every one of those was closed inside six minutes, he never went above two contracts, and he still finished the day through the profit target. Being right most of the time was not the skill here.

Chandan O.🇮🇳@ChandanOB
+$156.00

Six micro gold trades, two contracts at most, a mixed scorecard and a patient 126-minute hold to open the day. It was enough to finish his Flex $5,000 evaluation: the account is approved.

Head count and trade count are two different maps. The United States sent the most of both, 36 traders and 191 trades, and India was right behind with 26 and 155. Then it splits: Turkey and Colombia each sent one very active trader who put up 76 and 74 trades on their own, while Romania, the Netherlands and Latvia sent people who took one or two trades all day and went back to their lives. Both are the platform working.

Also on the board

  • Ten accounts crossed their profit target during the session, from $2,500 Track accounts up to a Flex $25,000. We check those by rebuilding each account's balance day by day rather than trusting a status field, so the count is what actually happened inside the session.
  • Kunal O.🇨🇦@kooberoi25 took eleven trades across three Track $2,500 accounts and finished up $206.50, one contract on every single trade. Three of the eleven went against him and none of them were held past nine minutes.
  • Kairat K.🇰🇿 went four for four on his two Track $2,500 accounts, one contract each, for $136.00. Kazakhstan's only appearance on yesterday's board.

In the Pit

Three of you had your first payout processed yesterday. pakdhe🇮🇩@pakdhe kept 72.3% of his, fxgolfer🇺🇸@fxgolfer 69.75%, Anushka007🇮🇳@Anushka007 64.5%. Same programme, same rules, three different Profit Split scores. That is the whole idea in one day: the score decides what you keep.

The room is at 3,236 members. 161 were active during the session, nine new members arrived from seven countries, and five funded badges went up. And all 140 traders who were on the board yesterday are already in here.

One contract, five times, and a board that reached 37 countries. See you in the Pit.
