Eighteen countries, one session
Eighteen countries traded with us yesterday, and it turned into the busiest session we have counted in almost four weeks. 74 traders, 372 trades.
Tuesday was the busiest day we have had in almost four weeks. Seventy-four traders were live at the same time, and between them they took 372 trades. Both of those are the most of any session since June 18, and the previous best was only set on Monday. Whatever is building here, it is building quickly.
The spread is the part worth sitting with. Eighteen countries were on the board. Nigeria sent 21 traders and India sent 19, and between them they were more than half the room. Then there is the long tail, and we like the long tail: eight countries sent exactly one trader each. One person in Bahrain. One in Canada. One in Lebanon. One in Israel. Their trades went through the same engine, against the same rules, as everybody else's.
What the room traded was mostly the micro Nasdaq, 205 trades of the 372. Micro gold took 59 and the full-size Nasdaq took 37, most of that on the Flex $150,000 accounts that only went live this month.
The discipline, not the dollars
Took twenty-two trades, more than any other $5,000 account in the session, and thirteen of them were green. His worst trade of the whole day cost him $11.50. Cutting every loser down to pocket change is the entire trick, and it is a lot harder than it reads.
Was trading a $100,000 account, where he is allowed 60 contracts. He used three. Twelve trades, seven of them green, and he was done.
Went eleven green out of twelve. The twelfth went against him and he shut it at $435 instead of arguing with it. The discipline is in the twelfth trade, not the eleven.
Traders per country, Tuesday's session
Twelve accounts hit their profit target. Seven of the traders behind them:
- Agil P.๐ฎ๐ฉ@Alphakas hit the 5% target on his Flex $5,000 in his first session on the account. One more trading day and the evaluation is complete.
- Darji D.๐ฎ๐ณ@HOPEx3 crossed on two accounts on the same day, with every requirement already met.
- Kabiru B.๐ณ๐ฌ@TheNQtrader cleared his Flex $5,000 target three days after opening the account.
- Nirav K.๐ฎ๐ณ@nirav hit his Track $2,500 target and now needs his minimum trading days to finish the job.
- Sachin M.๐ฎ๐ณ@ICT_M cleared a Flex $2,500 target on day two.
- Animesh R.๐ฎ๐ณ@roy cleared his Track $2,500 target with three profitable days behind him.
- Beka E.๐ช๐น@beba needed $11 to cross his Track $2,500 line and made $14. Five trading days, five of them profitable.
In the Pit
118 new members joined while Tuesday's session was still running, from 20 different countries. That puts the room at 1,876 members, 813 of you active in the last seven days, and 778 messages posted this week. If you crossed a target yesterday, go and tell them. That is what the room is for.
Eighteen countries, 74 traders, and the two numbers we liked most all day were $315 and $14. That is the room working exactly the way it is supposed to. See you in the next session.
