Thirty-nine countries, one session
Yesterday 143 of you traded from 39 different countries in the same session. Three weeks ago our widest day reached twenty.
We count the countries on the board every session, and most days the number sits somewhere in the teens. Yesterday it was thirty-nine.
One hundred and forty-three of you were live, across 191 accounts, 866 trades and 2,342 contracts. The United States sent the biggest room with 41 traders, India 24, Nigeria 14, Canada 7, then Indonesia and Kenya with 5 each. After that the board just kept going: the UK, Pakistan, Brazil, Colombia, South Africa, Romania, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Algeria, Israel, Malaysia, Denmark, Burkina Faso, Portugal, the UAE, Nepal, Tรผrkiye, Italy, Germany, Madagascar, Tanzania, Paraguay, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Tunisia, Sweden, Australia, Hungary, Lebanon, Norway, Kazakhstan, Uganda and Bangladesh. Six of those had not appeared on our board at all in the last month: Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Hungary, Madagascar, Tunisia and Uganda.
Micro Nasdaq did most of the work as usual, 578 of the 866 trades. Micro gold took 119 and micro crude 48, which is where two of yesterday's best sessions came from. Five regions were represented at once, and the room in Europe (13 traders across 10 countries) was almost as wide as the room in Asia was deep.
The honest caveat on the headline: we can only compare cleanly back to June 21, because trade rows before that do not all resolve to a trader and a country. Inside that window, yesterday is the widest, busiest session we have on record, and it is not close. Three weeks ago our best day reached twenty countries.
The disciplined hands
His $50,000 Flex account lets him hold 40 contracts. Yesterday he never went past six, and mostly sat on two to four. Nine trades on it, eight of them green, best +$128, worst -$26, and no single trade carried the day. The account gives you room. Deciding not to take it is the whole skill.
Thirteen micro crude trades on a $2,500 account and a 6% profit target tagged at 11:43. He was wrong six times yesterday and not one of those trades cost him more than $40, which is the only reason the two good ones counted for anything. Up 13.4% on the account in a session.
Twelve micro Nasdaq trades between 08:12 and 20:06, eleven of them green, and his one red cost him $1.50. Most were done inside two minutes. A whole day of small, finished decisions, which is a rarer thing than a big number.
Burkina Faso on the board, and one of the cleanest cards on it: twelve micro crude trades on a $5,000 Flex account, eleven green. He held one for 90 seconds and another for two hours, so he was reading each setup on its own terms rather than trading a clock.
Cleared his 6% target on his second trade of the day, at 08:22, then opened a fresh account and traded it five more times. Eight trades across the two, seven of them green, and his one red cost $8.50. Italy had a good Wednesday.
Where the room was, Wednesday's session
Seventeen targets tagged
- Seventeen accounts crossed their challenge profit target while the session was running, spread across eight countries: Kenya, Italy, Nigeria, India, the UK, Paraguay, the United States and Brazil. Every one of them is an evaluation target cleared, not a funded account, and several still have minimum trading days to serve.
- Jemal O.๐บ๐ธ@lily opened a $2,500 account at 14:55, took his third trade at 15:24, and had cleared the whole 6% target inside half an hour of owning it.
- Robbie J.๐ฌ๐ง@traderraider6 opened the session in the red and ground eight trades out of it to tag his target at 11:37. Comebacks count.
- Ivan D.๐ต๐พ@ivades needed $49.50 to reach his line and took $50.00 out of a single micro Nasdaq trade at 14:12, then kept trading the second account like nothing had happened.
Almost everyone on the board was in the Pit
Here is the number that actually explains yesterday: of the 143 traders who traded, 141 are members of the Pit. That is not a marketing stat, it is just what the community is now. 3,162 members, 1,178 of you active in the last week, 808 messages traded between you.
So when the map lights up in 39 countries, most of those dots are people you can already message.
Thirty-nine countries, 143 traders, and the session's best story was still a British trader with a 40-contract allowance who took six.
If yesterday was your first session with us, from Ouagadougou or Sofia or Budapest or Dhaka, welcome. The map got wider because you showed up on it.
See you in the Pit.
